Reset a user’s password

Before you begin

You need to be either a Global Administrator, Identity Repository Administrator, or have at least User Manager entitlements to reset a directory user’s password.

About this task

You will need to edit a user profile to reset their password. As a consequence of resetting the password, the current user session will be revoked.

Steps

  1. Go to Users → User Directory → Users.

  2. Click Edit to display the user details in Edit mode.

  3. Enter a new password in the Password field and confirm the new password.

  4. Click Save.
