Configuring customer account service settings
As a Global Administrator, you can configure customer settings for your managed service.
About this task
All of the service settings are optional. Any settings that you don’t assign will use the default values.
The Service Settings page is not available for Support Administrators. |
Steps

Go to Customers → Service Settings.

Click Edit.

To allow your customers to change the corporate logo displayed on their dock, make sure the Allow Logo Customization check box is selected.
Your customers can customize their corporate logo on one of three menus in their PingOne for Enterprise admin portal:

Setup → Branding → Dock

Setup → Branding → Logon & SSO

Account → Branding

To choose the branding logos for your customer’s User Dock and Admin Portal, click Select Image.

Select the Enable 'Add Basic SSO Applications' Option check box to give your customers the option of allowing end users to add basic single sign-on (SSO) applications to their PingOne for Enterprise Dock.
Result:
The Add Basic SSO Applications option will be displayed on the PingOne Dock Configuration page in your customer’s PingOne for Enterprise admin portal.
If you clear the Enable 'Add Basic SSO Applications' Option check box, the option won’t show in your customer’s Dock Configuration window.
When your customers choose the Add Basic SSO Applications option, your customer’s end users can add and remove basic SSO applications in their personal dock from the PingOne for Enterprise Application Catalog.

To limit the identity repositories available to your customers, clear the Allow All Identity Repositories check box, and select the allowed identity repositories.
By default, all PingOne for Enterprise identity repositories are available for your customers to configure.

To allow your customers to configure their multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings, make sure the Allow MFA Customization check box is selected.
When this option is enabled, your customers can:

Configure their MFA settings at Setup → Authentication Policy.

Configure their PingID MFA settings at Setup → PingID.
When Allow MFA Customization is disabled, your customers see MFA settings as read-only.

To allow your customers using the PingOne for Enterprise Directory to configure password policies for their users, make sure the Allow Password Policy Customization check box is selected.
When this option is enabled, your customers using the PingOne for Enterprise Directory can customize Directory password policies at Setup → Directory.
When Allow Password Policy Customization is disabled, your customers see the PingOne for Enterprise Directory password policy as read-only.

Configure the templates for emails automatically sent to customers.
Option Description Sender
The sender address used in emails sent to your customers.
The ability to customize this field is disabled by default. To enable it, log on to your account and submit a support case.
Account Activation
In the Subject Line field, enter a subject line for account activation emails.
To customize the account activation email template click Download Template.
Admin Invite
In the Subject Line field, enter a subject line for admin invite emails.
To customize the admin invite email template click Download Template.
Password Reset
In the Subject Line field, enter a subject line for password reset emails.
To customize the password reset email template click Download Template.
Account Upgrade
In the Email field, enter an email address to send account upgrade emails from.
In the Subject Line box, enter a subject line for account upgrade emails.
To customize the password reset email template click Download Template.

To view or modify the default HTML email template that’s sent to customers, click Download Current Template.
You can modify this template for your use or create a new HTML template. Any new templates you create need to be valid HTML and use the same variables as in the default template ( do not add any new variables).

To replace the current (default) template, click Replace Template and select the HTML file to use.

To delete an email template, in the Email Templates area, next to the relevant template, click Remove Saved Template, and then click Save. The custom template is removed and the default PingOne for Enterprise email template is applied.

To add a support email address and support URL to the Help menu of the customer’s PingOne for Enterprise admin portal, in the Support & Policies section:

For Support Email, enter your support team email address.

For Support URL, enter the URL for your customer support page.
