Use case connectors

Use case connectors are the fastest way to implement common user experiences, such as authentication, registration, password change, account recovery, and MFA. Compared with the more granular connector types, such as core connectors, Ping connectors, and service connectors, use case connectors eliminate the need for complex subflows by consolidating common use cases into a single node.

Connector Uses

The Authentication use case connector covers the following common user experiences:

  • Sign On

  • Register account

  • Accept agreement

MFA

The MFA use case connector covers the following common user experiences:

  • MFA registration

  • MFA authentication

The Protect use case connector lets you use PingOne Protect in a DaVinci flow to:

  • Improve the user experience by reducing MFA fatigue

  • Lower the probability of unintentional push approvals

  • Issue challenges or deny access in high-risk situations
