You need to be either a Global Administrator or Identity Repository Administrator to remove an attribute from the directory. You cannot remove an attribute that is listed as Required or used for Registration.

  1. Go to Setup > Directory Settings > Attributes.
  2. For the attribute to remove, click the down-arrow next to the Details button and click Remove.
    The selected attribute is removed from the directory attributes used.
  3. Repeat these steps for any additional attributes to remove.
