About Periodic Stats Loggers

The Periodic Stats Logger plugin records server performance metrics at fixed intervals, enabling you to monitor and analyze server behavior over time. You can control which statistics are collected and adjust their level of detail. The logger captures historical information, such as LDAP operation metrics, host details, and gauge data.

At each interval, the logger writes server statistics to either a JSON file or a comma-separated value (.csv) log. The logger has a negligible impact on server performance unless the log-interval property is set to a value less than 1 second.

You can create multiple loggers with different configurations, depending on your monitoring needs.
