Node versions
Nodes in AM are versioned.
When a new node version is released, existing journeys that use that node aren’t automatically updated. This lets you choose when to update the node in your existing journeys, giving you time to test and validate changes before rolling them out to all users.
When you add a node to your journey, the latest node version is used. However, you can revert to an earlier version of a node, if required.
Update a node
When a new version of a node is available, you’ll see a sync icon () on the node in the authentication tree designer.
To update a node:
-
Click the node with the sync icon () to display the node’s properties.
-
Click View Details to display the changelog for the new node version.
-
After reviewing the changelog, click Update to update to the latest node version.
-
Provide any missing configuration values and connect any unconnected outcomes before saving your tree.
Revert to an earlier node version
You should always use the latest node version where possible, but you can revert to an earlier node version, if needed.
To revert to an earlier node version:
-
Click the node that you want to revert to display the node’s properties.
-
Under the node name, click the current version number to display a list of available versions.
-
Select the version that you want to use and click Revert.
-
Provide any missing configuration values and connect any unconnected outcomes before saving your tree.
