Advanced sync for managed object types

Configuring advanced sync on a managed object type provides an identity-centric view of all the synchronization rules and mappings for the managed object type and every system the object type synchronizes with.

This page focuses on managing advanced sync from a managed object type. The Advanced Sync editor is also available from an application’s Provisioning tab.

Manage advanced sync

  1. In the Advanced Identity Cloud admin console, go to people Identities > Configure.

  2. On the Managed Object Types page, select the managed object type. For example, select Alpha realm – User.

  3. Click the Advanced Sync tab to display all mappings where the selected managed object type is either the source or the target.

  4. To manage advanced sync mappings, do one of the following:

    • To create an advanced sync mapping, click add Sync Data.

    • To update an advanced sync mapping, click the mapping you want to edit.

    • To delete an advanced sync mapping, click more_horiz for the mapping and select Delete.
