Copy and edit the default workflows
Default workflows are read-only to preserve their original functionality and behavior. However, you can create a copy of any default workflow and modify the draft version to fit your needs.
Copy and edit your default workflow

In the Advanced Identity Cloud admin console, click Governance > Workflows.

Select a default workflow, click the ellipsis icon (), and then click Duplicate.

In the Workflow Details modal, enter a name (also referred to as
workflow ID) for your workflow copy, and click Save. For example,BasicApplicationGrant-copy. -
In your workflow copy, make any changes to the workflow or its nodes, and when ready, click Save.

Click Publish to activate it.

Integrate the new workflow by updating the request type. Go to Governance > Requests > Request Types.

Click the request type that you want to update. For example, click the Grant Application request type.

Click Workflow, and select the new workflow copy. For example, select BasicApplicationGrant-copy.

Click Save.
