The PingFederate X.509 Certificate Integration Kit allows PingFederate to authenticate clients that use X.509 certificates to sign on to applications.

X.509 Certificate IdP Adapter

When PingFederate is acting as an identity provider (IdP), this adapter validates X.509 certificates against the certificate authorities (CA) in the PingFederate certificate store.

PingFederate 10.3 or later.
