Install the Salesforce connector

Steps

  1. Download the Salesforce Login Integration Kit .zip archive from the Add-ons tab of the PingFederate downloads page or the Ping Identity Marketplace.

  2. Stop PingFederate.

  3. In the .zip archive, copy the following files from the dist directory to the <pf_install>/pingfederate/server/default/deploy directory:

    • pf-salesforce-idp-adapter-1.0.jar

    • salesforce-partner-api-20.jar

  4. If it exists, delete the salesforce-partner.jar file from the <pf_install>/pingfederate/server/default/lib directory:

    This library is an older version of the Salesforce API and isn’t compatible with the PingFederate Salesforce Connector.

  5. Start or restart PingFederate.
