Provisioning options reference

The following are setting descriptions for the ServiceNow provisioning capabilities.

Field Name Description

User Create
Selected (default)

PingFederate creates users in ServiceNow.

Cleared

PingFederate does not create users in ServiceNow.

User Update
Selected (default)

PingFederate updates existing users in ServiceNow.

Cleared

PingFederate does not update existing users in ServiceNow.

User Disable
Selected (default)

PingFederate disables users in ServiceNow.

Cleared

PingFederate does not disable users in ServiceNow.

If any of the above options are cleared, PingFederate logs a warning in the user workflow section of the provisioner.log file when the related action fails.

Provision Disabled Users
Selected

PingFederate creates users in ServiceNow with a "disabled" status.

Cleared (default)

If a user has a "disable" status, PingFederate does not create the user in ServiceNow.
