Changelog

The following is the change history for the AWS IAM Identity Center Provisioner.

Version 1.1.0.5 - January 2026

  • Replaced deprecated AWS IAM Identity Center PatchGroup Remove All and Replace operations with incremental add or remove PATCH updates. This change aligns with AWS requirements and prevents access disruptions and throttling issues when synchronizing large group memberships.

Version 1.1.0.4 - December 2025

  • Added the ability to retry PATCH requests automatically with an exponential delay to improve HTTP 429 error handling.

Version 1.1.0.3 - November 2025

  • The AWS IAM Identity Center Provisioner now sets the User-Agent HTTP header with a value of PingFederate when making PATCH requests.

By default, AWS IAM Identity Center blocks PATCH requests that don’t include this header.

Version 1.1 – October 2024

  • Fixed an issue that prevented updates made to an existing user’s sAMAccountName in the LDAP source from synchronizing with the nickName attribute in the AWS platform.
