Deploying products and services
After creating an environment for your Ping Identity products and services, set up the connections to products that require additional configuration.
Before you begin
If you haven’t already, add the product requiring configuration to your environment. For example, PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud. Learn more in Adding a service to an environment.

PingOne services are deployed automatically based on what’s selected when the environment is added and don’t require additional setup. Learn more in Adding a service to an environment. |
Steps

In the PingOne admin console, go to the Environments page and browse or search for the environment that you want to update.

Click the environment to open the details panel.
The details panel lists the products and services that are included in the environment, along with details such as the environment ID, environment type, URLs for the environment, license information, and so on.

Click Manage Environment and click Overview in the sidebar.

In the Optional Connections section, locate the product or service that requires configuration, click the More Options icon (), and then click Setup Instructions.
Products that require additional configuration after they’re added to your environment are listed in the Optional Connections section and include a Not Set Up label.
Cloud software products are most easily deployed using Docker images, so if it’s an option, click Docker and complete the appropriate steps. Learn more about deploying Ping products using Docker on the Ping Identity DevOps site.
The ways in which you set up products and services vary. The following image displays the instructions for setting up single sign-on (SSO) to PingFederate.

Complete the setup as instructed.

After you’ve completed the setup, return to the Optional Connections section of the Overview page.

Locate the product in the Optional Connections list, click , and then click Configure.

Complete the configuration as instructed.
Result
If the configuration is successful, the Not Set Up label is removed and a New label is added. This label only persists during the session. If you refresh the page or sign out and sign back on, the label is removed.
The name of the product is now a hyperlink that you can click to sign on to the product from PingOne.
