Adding value processors to an attribute

Define value processors to transform the value returned by an attribute or an attribute resolver.

Before you begin

Add an attribute and configure the attribute’s general settings.

Steps

  1. To add a value processor, do one of the following.

    Choose from:

    • At the attribute level: Click the Value Processors section and click Add Value Processor.

    • At the resolver level: In the Resolvers section, click the hamburger menu next to the Resolver Name field and select Add Processing.

  2. (Optional) Update the Processor Name field.

  3. Select a Processor type and enter an expression for the value processor.

    You can find more information about value processor types and expressions in Processors. The Label (ncd1678229333989) icon indicates that you can reference attributes in the expression.

  4. In the Value type list, select a data type for the transformed value returned after the expression is applied.
