Adding resource links to the application portal
You can add links to resources your users might find useful, such as status pages, user guides, and applications that aren’t accessible through single sign-on (SSO). You can add a link to any resource that has a URL.

Steps

In the PingOne admin console, go to Applications > External Applications.

To add a link to a resource other than an SSO application, in the Applications section, click the icon.

Enter the following Profile details:

Application Name: The name to use for the application in the application portal. The maximum name length is 256 characters.

Description (optional): A description of the application.

Icon (optional): An image that represents the application. Use a file up to 1 MB in JPG, JPEG, GIF, or PNG format.

External Application ID (optional): If you want the application to be included in contexts such as the application list for targeted risk policies, enter the target resource ID that should be used for the application.

Verify that Show in the Application Portal is selected.

URL: The URL to which the user will be directed. It must be an HTTPS URL.

Click Save.
