Manage API access

Use the tutorials to familiarize yourself with the API Access Management capabilities of PingOne Authorize.

Before you begin

Make sure:

  • PingOne SSO and PingOne Authorize are in your environment. For more information, see Getting started with PingOne Authorize.

    For this tutorial, you’ll use PingOne Authorize, not PingAuthorize, so make sure you’ve added PingOne Authorize to your environment.

  • If you’re signing on as a user instead of an administrator, your user account has the Environment Admin and Identity Data Admin roles.

  • You have Postman. You’ll use a collection of Postman requests to get access tokens and make API calls.

  • You have access to Docker and Docker Compose (included with Docker Desktop on Mac and Windows). You’ll use Docker to spin up Kong Gateway for the tutorials.
