New email and banner alerts for approaching license entitlement limits (early access)
New alert types have been added to Monitoring > Alerts and as banner alerts in the PingOne admin console. The alerts are available for early access.
- License Entitlement Warning

The usage for the specified entitlement has exceeded 80% of the limit included in your license agreement.
- License Entitlement High

The usage for the specified entitlement has exceeded 90% of the limit included in your license agreement.
- License Entitlement Exceeded

The usage for the specified entitlement has exceeded the limit included in your license agreement.
When you configure these alerts, an email message is sent to the specified address when you reach the defined threshold for the entitlement. Each time a new threshold is reached, a new alert is shown. The alerts are cleared at the start of the next license period, or when a different license is assigned to the environment.
The corresponding banner alerts are shown in the PingOne admin console when you reach these thresholds. After a banner alert is acknowledged, it’s not shown to the user again until a new threshold is reached.
These alerts trigger auditing events that you can view in the auditing report, and you can create webhook subscriptions to monitor them. Learn more in Running an audit report and Creating or editing a webhook.

These alerts are currently enabled only for PingOne MFA, PingOne Verify, and PingOne DaVinci transaction-based entitlements. |
